Fished the upper section on the American River today with a couple buddies. Because of all the fisherman out today we headed down river about a mile before we started fishing. Fished the American River in late Oct. in the middle section for Steelhead. Half-pounder bite was “so-so”, looking forward to a great opener in Jan.
