Looks like we’ll finally have a Salmon season in the central valley. California Fish & Game Commission have adopted the regulations to allow fishing for the fall-run Chinook Salmon to resume for the first time in three years.
The American River season will run from October 30 to November 28 from Ancil Hoffman Park to the mouth. There is a bag limit of two fish in all of the open sections of the Central Valley Salmon season.
Here’s a quick look at where Salomon fishing will be allowed on Central Valley rivers:

As of now, the season will only be from October 30Th till Nov 28Th. Book your trip soon! Clients have been asking for dates already. Details to follow when I return from Cabo. Email me or Call me @ (707)477-5174 with any questions. I will get back to you when I return from Cabo.
